How are resorts rated?
In order to be on this website, a resort must be rated as Wonderful or Excellent by multiple websites. These rating sites include TripAdvisor, Expedia, Google Hotels and travel agent sites. Since these sites use different scales, these ratings have been normalized ratings based on a 100-point scale. To be included on this site, the resort must be rated at 90+.
How accurate is your list of the amenities and features of these resorts?
Resort websites, travel agent resources and personal experiences at resorts form the basis for all features included. If a feature has not been verified, it is not included. Please notify us of any inaccuracy or incomplete information–we will contact the resort to confirm and then add it to this website.
Does the resort pay you to add their resort to this website?
No. A resort must meet the rating threshold and other criteria we have set in order to be included. Some resorts utilize affiliate programs that receive and then pay to us a small fees for marketing their resorts. This costs you nothing. For more information, see our Affiliate Disclaimer and Privacy Policy.
Does your site contain all of the resorts that are Wonderful or Excellent?
This site contains only resorts that are rated at 90 or higher and also be on a beachfront. At present, the resorts on this website are either located in the Caribbean or Mexico. If you have a resort that you feel should be included, please let us know and we will evaluate whether it can be included.
Can you book a trip for us?
The owners of this site are travel agents and can book your trip for you. However, this website was established because the majority of today’s travelers prefer to maintain the control of booking the resort themselves. In many cases, the links can provide as much discount as a travel agent is able to provide.
Do you have a website that includes resorts that are still awesome, but didn’t quite make this list?
Yes, although currently our website with these Very Good resorts doesn’t have the same search capabilities. Check out Best-All-InclusiveResorts.com and you may also want to check out its Deals page, which lists the current promotions for these high-rated resorts.
How do you define a “swimmable” beach?
A beach is considered to be swimmable if a normal adult can get in and out of the water without difficulty. Please note that the swimmability of a body of water is dynamic and can change rapidly to non-swimmable based on tides, weather and other factors–always pay attention to the warning flags displayed by the resort. By contrast, a “rocky beach” is one with large rocks that make it difficult to enter and exit.
